In Response To: Summary: 43rd ANNUAL Indian Terr. Treasure Hunt ()

Thank You!

Once again, big thanks to all those ITTHC members and non-members for their help in making this hunt go as smoothly as it does. And the club as a whole for their continuing support of this hunt.

Thanks to Vickie Owens, with I’m sure a little help from Mike, for doing her Traditional great job with the registration & camping fees collection. I think it was Vickie that said; “You can do a good job once, but if you do a good job twice it becomes a Tradition.”

Jim & Carol Nobles did their Traditionally great job at dual service on the prize board and the Buttons & Bows Hunt. Keeping track of the donations for the prize donation raffle. And doing some great shopping for prizes. Thanks again Jim & Carol. And also a big thanks to all those donating some great prizes to the hunt. Last I noticed in the Main Hunt there were 110 prizes.

Thank You to ITTHC Western Grove, Arkansas member Jack Cooper with those great new knees for helping me bury the prize tokens in the Main Hunt and carrying the hammer and quiver of stakes during stringing on Friday. Though the quiver was probably a little heavier that the one from your days of competitive archery.

Thanks to Cody Reese and Roger Eaton for running and burying the Deep Buried Competition, which was obviously not an easy task this year. Thanks guys! Also, thanks to Huntmasters Cody Reese & Roger Eaton and the crew for the marking and stringing of the fields. Thanks go out to all of you club members and non-club members that were there stringing, burying, and re-burying.

Big THANK YOU to Cathy Young for volunteering to head up the concession and doing an OUTSTANDING job! Thanks to Gary Young and the rest of the Young family that did a great job of getting the concession supplies to the site and helping out in the concession. And Thanks to all those that volunteered time working in the concession and donating supplies for the concession. Thanks again Young family.

Thanks to Gary Young for doing his Traditional great job on the Kid’s Hunt and calling Bingo!

Thanks to Jean Dick for her Traditional job organizing and keeping the Bingo! jumping on Saturday night.

Thanks to Bob Freeman on his Traditional job with his 37th ANNUAL Gold Coin Raffle.

And most of these folks did many other jobs in preparing for and putting on this hunt. And again thanks to all those club members that put in time on the hunt to make it one of the best in the country.

And Thank You to all those attending & entering the hunt and supporting the activities surrounding the 43rd ANNUAL Indian Territory Treasure Hunt.

If I have forgot anybody or anything it is not intentional. I will blame it on old age, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Because as Bob Freeman says “Man, are we getting’ old.”
